Kramer Metals, Inc. is an independent California Corporation. Founded in the late 1930’s, Kramer Metals, Inc. has been serving Southern California industry for over 65 years. Kramer Metals, Inc. is located in the heart of the City of Los Angeles and operates two plants in areas that are zoned heavy industrial. The West Plant is dedicated to the processing of all grades of ferrous scrap metal, such as, iron, tin, steel, automobile hulks and appliances. The East Plant, which houses our main offices, processes only Non-Ferrous and Alloy scrap metals. Spectrum Alloys, Inc. is Southern California's premiere processor of alloys and specialty metal scrap. Founded in 1983, Spectrum Alloys, Inc. has been serving Southern California industry and other scrap metal firms for over 20 years. We specialize in servicing the aircraft, aerospace and defense industries, refineries and chemical plants as well as any industrial generator of specialty alloy scrap metal and other scrap metal dealers. |
| Jos. Levin & Son, Inc. was founded in 1892 by the Levin family and has been in continuous operation by the family since that date until it was acquired by Kramer Metals, Inc. in October 2005. Jos. Levin & Son is the oldest operating scrap metal processing and recycling company in the region and serves industry as well as other scrap metal dealers. Jos. Levin & Son specializes in direct shipments of cast iron and steel scrap to domestic steel mills and foundries by truck and rail and is one of the largest regional shippers of containerized steel scrap to overseas consumers. Continental Truck & Towing, LLC (CTT) is the only non-scrap metal member of our group of companies. CTT is one of the oldest and most respected heavy duty towing & wrecking and transportation companies in Southern California. CTT compliments the ongoing groups operations, creates opportunities for additional sources of scrap and extends more services to our existing customers. CTT is also an Official Police Garage (OPG) Heavy Duty. |
